Keeping pace with present time in prevailing circumstances, ISEG in association with NTPC is organising a Two days International Conference on "Sustainable Development of Pumped Storage Hydro Power Projects– Geotechnical Challenges" at NTPC Power Management Institute, Noida, UP on 20th to 21st November 2023. Main purpose of this is enlightening the Government of India’s commitment to achieve the target of adding 500 GW installed capacity of Renewable Energy by the year 2030 and discuss various Geological, Geotechnical challenges along with Design aspects, Environmental Aspects, Hydrological Aspects, Economical & Financial Aspects for making Pumped Storage Projects – a Sustainable Renewable Energy Alternative.

This platform apart from providing awareness for the PSPs, also provides platform to deliberate and discuss advanced geological, geophysical techniques, civil, design, seismic aspects, earthquake engineering through presentations and lectures by the speakers from both academic & industrial fields in Geology / Geophysics /Civil Design/ Hydrology / Environment etc.
